About the Guitar Courses
Guitar Tech Courses run instructor led Guitar courses for students wishing to build their own guitar or learn how to setup a guitar (Pro Setup) for the first time or take their skills to the next level. The guitar courses are taught by Luthier James Collins. James has decided to keep groups on the build your own guitar courses down to three at present. This ensures that every student gets the tuition and personal attention to get the very best from this course.
How to book a guitar course with us
- Choose your build your own guitar or guitar tech course
- Select a date for the course and make a provisional booking
- Put down a deposit to secure your place
- Select your guitar customisation options (If attending a build your own guitar course)
There are a few other formalities involved in booking the course but we have made the process as simple as possible for you

You don’t need to have any prior knowledge. Just the ability to work in a small group and an enthusiasm in your field. We’ll do the rest.

At the end of each course we’ll select a guitar for the homepage wall of fame. In fact all guitars built by students do get posted on the wall of fame, but we might just have our own personal favorite that we like to display here.

Professional Guitar Setup Course
We’ve just released the hotly awaited pro guitar setup course. We have spent a few months getting this course spot on. We’ll write up more details on the home page shortly. Full details can be found on the courses and bookings pages for now.
